How do I get started lighting these candles? TOP
The first time you light the candles, you should fill the candles about five minutes before you light them. This enable the paraffin to travel up the wick, and will let the oil burn, not the wick.
Do I have to replace the wick? TOP
Our wicks are made of durable fiberglass, and are built into the candle. They should last you years without replacement, if you treat them right! However, after a certain amount of time, they may need to be replaced.
Are the lights safe? TOP
Absolutley! The oil is pure paraffin, the same thing the traditional wax candles are made from. The bulbs are fit with a safety stopper on the bottom so they will not fall out of your candlesticks.
How do I clean the bulbs? TOP
You don't! Once the paraffin is empty and the flame is extinguished, the bulbs are left clean, with no wax to clean up. No cleaning is necessary.
What should I light the candles with? TOP
You should light the candles with a lighter, or a match. If you light it from a wax candle, the wax could drip and ruin your wicks.
Do the bulbs get hot? TOP
No. Because the flame only touches the end of the wick, the bulbs stays cool even after being lit for hours.
Is there anything else I should know? TOP
Yes, do not ever touch the wicks with your fingers. The oils from your finger can ruin the fibeglass wick.
